Our Venue at a Glance
Breathtaking Location
Stalisfield Village Hall is situated in the stunning Kent countryside in a picturesque rural village. It is located on the village green in a Conservation Area within an officially designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
This is the view from the large lawned area at the rear of the Hall. Miles of open Kent countryside are the perfect backdrop to your event. The outside area is accessed via two sets of double doors at the rear of the Hall which lead onto a decked patio area and then onto the lawn.
Event Space
The main hall area is a large open plan room. It is sympathetically decorated with cream-painted tongue-and-groove walls with light blue accents and a coved ceiling.
It is a bright and airy space with plenty of natural light. However, all the windows also have blackout blinds for audio-visual displays. The recessed ceiling lights are on dimmer switches, so you can easily adjust the mood of your lighting.
It is suitable for seated at tables events for around 120 guests and can accommodate around 250 people standing .
Guest Wifi is available
Your Event
We offer the hall as a "bare-bones" hire. You will have full and exclusive access to the building, and basic contents such as tables, chairs, cutlery and crockery. But for more formal events you may want to provide your own.
This is how we are able to keep our hire rates low. We only ask that you leave the hall clean and tidy at the end of your hire and remove all your rubbish, decorations and personal items ready for the next booking.
The hall does not have any on-site staff, but there is a bookings manager who can assist you if you have any issues during your hire.
Kitchen
We have a well-equipped modern kitchen with two double ovens and and 4 ring induction hob. There is also a fridge-freezer, dishwasher and microwave.
The kitchen has a large serving hatch through to the hall.
There are white plates and cutlery for around 60 people.
Catering and Staying
The village hall is a stone's throw from the award-winning country pub, The Plough Inn at Stalisfield. Landlord Marianne and chef Richard will be happy to discuss catering your event for you from their two AA rosette menu.
Afterwards, why not book into one of their six self-contained B&B suites. Or, for the more budget conscious, there's the option of their camping and caravanning site.

Accessibility.
The village hall has easy access and there are no steps to enter or within the hall. There is a short ramp which provides access from the patio area to the lawn.
There is a fully equipped accessible toilet (which also contains a baby-changing area).
Stalisfield Church
The village hall also provides a perfect location to gather after your life event service at Stalisfield Church. Please see their website for who can get married at the church.
